TALLAHASSEE —Today, the Florida Lottery (Lottery) announces that Jeffrey Sanchez, 52, of Brandon claimed a $2 million prize from the October 28, 2022 MEGA MILLIONS® drawing at the Lottery's Tampa District Office. The winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but did not match the Mega Ball number.

Sanchez purchased his winning MEGA MILLIONS with Megaplier ticket at 7-Eleven, located at 1020 South Kings Avenue in Brandon. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning MEGA MILLIONS ticket.

MEGA MILLIONS in 2013, the game has generated more than $1.01 billion for education and has awarded more than $978.4 million in prizes to 69.4 million players. The next MEGA MILLIONS drawing will be held tonight at 11:00 p.m. ET with an estimated $188 million jackpot.
