TALLAHASSEE- This holiday season, the Florida Lottery (Lottery) encourages players, retailers, and the public to help prevent underage gaming by supporting responsible play.

"It's imperative that our players understand the importance of gifting responsibly this holiday season," said Florida Lottery Secretary John F. Davis. "Responsible play is a cornerstone of our mission here at the Lottery. By ensuring that every Lottery player and retailer does their part to prevent underage gaming this holiday season, we can create a more enjoyable playing experience for everyone."

The Lottery is committed to increasing awareness of underage gaming issues to consumers, retailers, and other stakeholders. Lottery games are designed to be a fun form of entertainment that can make a great holiday gift for players 18 or older; however, they are not for children.
