MULBERRY MAN WINS TOP PRIZE PLAYING THE
$600,000,000 GOLD RUSH SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Jason Busby, 35, of Mulberry, claimed a $3 million top prize in the $600,000,000 GOLD RUSH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
Busby chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,359,392.16. He purchased his winning ticket from Get N Go, located at 2805 Shepherd Road in Lakeland.=p>The $20 Scratch-Off game, $600,000,000 GOLD RUSH launched in September 2014. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, comprising approximately 65 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $734 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2015-16.
