OCOEE MAN CLAIMS THE LAST $1,000,000 GRAND PRIZE
IN HOLIDAY MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™
TALLAHASSEE -The Florida Lottery announces that Jimmy Booth, of Ocoee, claimed a $1 million grand prize from the Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™ drawing held on Thursday, December 31, 2015.
Booth purchased his winning ticket from Ocoee Food Mart, located at 700 South Bluford Avenue in Ocoee. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the $1 million-winning ticket.
Along with the seven $1 million prizes, 540 other prizes ranging from $500 to $50,000 were awarded in the Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™ New Year's Eve drawing held on December 31. Additionally, five weekly drawings were offered in which a $10,000 prize and two hundred $500 prizes were won. In total, 1,552 players won more than $8.6 million in prizes in the Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™. Plus, players who purchased early had the chance to participate in the Playoff Bonus Drawing, in which 10 winners were selected to attend the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl and won cash prizes of up to $25,000 in an exciting prize reveal on-field at the game. The Holiday MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE™ game generated more than $1.9 million in revenue for education.
