Florida's game is new and improved. The new Florida Lotto is the game you know and love, but with bigger prizes, better odds, and more ways to win.
While some things have changed, the fundamentals of the game are staying the same. Players can still pick six numbers between 1 and 53, or just ask for a quick pick at any Florida lottery retailer.
So what's new?
For starters, every new Florida Lotto ticket comes with an instant random multiplier that automatically increases non-jackpot cash prizes up to 10 times. On top of that, match two of six winning numbers and win a free ticket. With add-ons like EZmatch, where players can win instantly, and the new Double Play, it's no wonder this game is an instant classic.
For just $2, you could win Florida's original jackpot game. The new Florida Lotto game has million-dollar jackpots that roll until there is a winner, and the drawings are held twice a week. And with the new $1 add on, Double Play, players have the chance to win additional prizes up to $250,000 in an additional drawing held immediately after the Florida Lotto drawing using the same numbers and multiplier played on their ticket.

Playing Florida Lotto
Get your playslip
Visit any Florida Lottery retail location for a paper playslip to choose your numbers. Every FLORIDA LOTTO playslip allows you to play up to ten panels, with each panel equaling one ticket. Tickets can be purchased until 10:55 p.m., Eastern Time, on the night of the draw. Tickets purchased after 10:55 p.m. will be for the next draw.
Mark your panels
Choose a panel and select six numbers from 1 through 53—or mark the QP box (Quick Pick) in the panel and let the terminal pick some or all of your numbers at random.
Choose your add-on's
Select the Double Play box on the left side of your playslip to get an extra chance to win cash prizes for just $1 more per play. The Double Play drawing is held immediately after the Florida Lotto drawing and uses the same numbers played on your ticket.
Select the EZmatch™ box at the top of each panel to get a chance to win cash instantly for just $1 more per play.
Save time with Advanced Play
To play the same numbers for more than one draw, select the number of advance draws you wish to play in the Advance Play section at the top of your playslip. If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a continuation ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket.
Submit your playslip
Submit your playslip to your Florida Lottery retailer and receive your official printed Florida Lotto ticket with your numbers, draw date(s), and any add-ons. You’ll need this ticket to claim any prizes, so keep it safe!

The Florida Lottery will hold official Florida Lotto drawings in which six out of 53 numbers will be drawn at random. If your six numbers match the six winning numbers drawn in the official Florida Lotto drawing for the date played, you win the jackpot. Match three, four, or five of the winning numbers to win other cash prizes that are automatically multiplied by the multiplier number printed on the ticket. Players who match just two numbers win a free Florida Lotto Quick Pick ticket for the next available drawing.
The multiplier number is generated at random, from two, three, four, five, or ten. If a Florida Lotto player matches three, four, or five winning numbers, he/she wins an amount equal to the original prize amount multiplied by the multiplier that was generated on their ticket. If the player matches just two winning numbers, he/she wins a free Florida Lotto Quick Pick ticket for the next available draw.
Florida Lotto with Double Play players who match the six winning numbers in the Double Play drawing win the $250,000 top prize. Those who match five, four, or three winning numbers win other great cash prizes that are automatically multiplied by the multiplier number printed on the ticket. Florida Lotto with Double Play players who match just two winning numbers win a free Florida Lotto with Double Play Quick Pick ticket for the next available draw.
Players may choose to receive their portion of the Florida Lotto jackpots in a one-time Cash Option payment or in 30 annual payments. The Cash Option payment is the amount required on the day of the drawing (or if the drawing is held on a Saturday or holiday, the business day prior to the drawing) to fund the applicable jackpot prize paid over 30 years, less applicable taxes. Florida Lotto jackpot winners who want to receive a single Cash Option payment must claim their prizes within the first 60 days of the 180-day redemption period. Applicable federal income taxes will be withheld from both Cash Option and annual payments at the time payments are made. Read more about claiming Lottery prizes.
