LECANTO WOMAN CLAIMS TOP PRIZE IN NEW
$2,000,000 MONOPOLY™ FLORIDA EDITION SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Tacara Scriven, 27, of Lecanto, claimed a top prize in the $2,000,000 MONOPOLY™ FLORIDA EDITION Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,540,000.00.
Scriven purchased her winning ticket from Crystal River Chevron, located at 639 Northeast Highway 19 in Crystal River. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The new $10 Scratch-Off game, $2,000,000 MONOPOLY FLORIDA EDITION, launched on July 5, and features more than $151 million in prizes, including eight top prizes of $2,000,000! The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.45.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, comprising approximately 65 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $734 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2015-16.
