PLAYING HOLIDAY GIFTS SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Howard Jansen, 59, of New Port Richey, claimed a top prize in the $500,000 HOLIDAY GIFTS Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. He purchased his winning ticket from Donia Food Mart & Deli, located at 4015 Little Road in New Port Richey.
The $5 Scratch-Off game, $500,000 HOLIDAY GIFTS, launched on October 27, and offers more than $42.3 million in cash prizes. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-4.00.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, comprising approximately 67 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $632 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2014-15.
