ORLANDO WOMAN WINS TOP PRIZE IN
$500,000 GOLD RUSH SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Rosalind Wood, 58, of Ocoee, claimed a top prize in the $500,000 GOLD RUSH Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. Wood purchased her winning ticket from Murphy Express, located at 8600 West Colonial Drive in Orlando.
The $5 Scratch-Off game, $500,000 GOLD RUSH, offers more than 7.5 million prizes ranging from $5 to $10,000 and 24 top prizes of $500,000. Thirteen top prizes of $500,000 remain in the game. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-4.23.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, comprising approximately 64 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $640 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2013-14.
